I use Smith’s Leather Balm on all of my leather products that need conditioning.  I also use it on all of the edges of wallets and other products that have burnished edges.  It gives the edges a seal and shiny finish.  It’s made of just 3 all natural ingredients:  organic cocoa butter, organic beeswax, and sweet almond oil.  No greasy build up, no waxy finish, just all natural conditioning for your leather goods.  Smiths is handcrafted by a husband and wife team in Maine:  Shane and Mandy Smith. They have been kind enough to include Silver Fox Leather as an online stockist and offering it here is my way of a maker supporting another maker.  I think you’ll dig it!  (And if you spend over $150, I’ll throw a 1oz tin in your order for free!)

-Can be applied safely by hand without a rag or messy clean up (and you can rub it in your hands for a nice skin conditioner!)

-Neutral color; works on all smooth leathers.

Application:

1. Ensure that leather goods are clean and dry.
2. Test small amount on a hidden patch of leather to preview results.
3. Start with a small amount. A little goes a long way.
4. Best applied by hand and massaged into leather, but a clean rag works also.
5. Leather will absorb the balm immediately Some leathers may darken slightly but return to their natural shade within 24 hours.
6. Repeat as necessary to protect, restore, and extend life of leather goods.

Don’t Fret!

Keep in mind that most of our products are one-of-a-kind pieces. But, if you see a piece that is sold out and that’s the one you really wanted, we can usually come pretty close on a duplicate. Just send us an email (click “contact us” on the home page) and we’ll get you fixed up.

And if you are local in the Columbia, TN area, you may want to check with Needle & Grain…they carry a select stock of our product with restocks throughout the year. Sometimes if something is marked “sold out” on the website, it may be at their store.
